Sutton Liberal Democrats are proud to work for you across Sutton and represent you all year round. Sutton Borough Council is Liberal Democrat controlled, with Liberal Democrat Councillors representing much of the Borough.
At Parliamentary level, the borough is covered by two parliamentary constituencies, "Sutton and Cheam" - represented by Liberal Democrat MP Paul Burstow and "Carshalton and Wallington" - represented by Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake.

2,000+ Local Residents say 'No' to Post Office Closures

2000, that's the number of petition signatures and letters dropped off to the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform in Victoria Street, Westminster yesterday lunchtime by a delegation of Sutton's politicians; Cllr Ruth Dombey and Cllr Simon Wales, Paul Burstow MP and Tom Brake MP.

Abigail is a local resident and knows the issues that matter to you. Already a councillor, she has been campaigning hard in the area. She is keen to join the already strong Liberal Democrat Team in Sutton in the capacity of London Assembly member, where she will be able to represent your views, especially in areas like transport, crime and the environment.
