Christmas in Lights on Roundshaw

11.19.00am GMT Wed 24th Dec 2008

Tom Brake was taken on a tour of Roundshaw by residents on Monday afternoon to judge the best home Christmas light displays.

Tom said, "There were so many displays to choose from, it was really tough making our choice. Window displays as well as elaborate fancy moving christmas light combinations were all in contention."

Three outstanding and imaginative displays were selected from around thirty displays.

The Roundshaw Community Board will be formally announcing the three winners shortly. They each get to choose to donate £50 to a charity of their choice.
