David Weir - Honorary Freedom of the London Borough of Sutton

Commenting on the granting to David Weir, double gold medal winner at the Paralympics in Beijing, of the Honorary Freedom of the London Borough of Sutton, Tom Brake said, "David's achievements as an athlete and a Wallingtonian are unparalleled. He is without a doubt the Borough's greatest athlete and has shown that nothing is impossible, providing you have the drive and dedication."
